Fort Collins/Loveland Accounting firm seeking local full-time Accountant. We are a fast-growing, team oriented, local accounting firm specializing in the veterinary industry. We provide monthly financial statements and support to veterinary hospitals across the country.

Accountant
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-
5+ years accounting experience
-
QuickBooks or other accounting software experience
-
Excel experience – very proficient
-
Financial Statement preparation & review experience
Qualified Candidates Will Have
-
Strong accounting knowledge including payroll, benefits, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, amortization schedules, cost of goods, inventory, etc.
-
Excellent Excel skills and ability to manage various types of data including imports, exports, sorting, subtotaling, pivots, etc.
-
Experience with QuickBooks.

Superb attention to detail.
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-
Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.
-
Excellent time management skills and very self-motivated.
-
Desire to help clients by providing them timely and accurate monthly financials statements.

Financial Statement review experience.
Responsibilities
-
Prepare Bank & Credit Card reconciliations.
-
Evaluate income categories.
-
Data entry as needed.
-
Remotely pull reports from other software programs.
-
Prepare payroll entries and payroll accruals.
-
Reconcile vendor statements and enter vendor invoices.
-
Gather data - download, import, export data.
-
Manage debt schedules.
-
Review fixed assets.
-
Reconcile various payable accounts.
-
Prepare various accruals and schedules.
-
Prepare and review financial statements.
-
Effectively communicate with hospital owners and managers.
-
Other responsibilities as needed for each hospital.
*​*This is a flexible 40+ hour per week position. The position requires a self-motivated person requiring minimal supervision and works well with the team, clients, and deadlines.
